Figure Drawing, Late 2008

Late 2008 has been a busy time if year: teaching, designing for websites, and directing. Sadly, my drawing has declined. To stay in shape, I have been drawing the figure whenever I can.


I tried using pen for these poses. Ink is pretty unforgiving stuff! I'm going to try this again.

The box is in great condition, and opens up like a jewelry box. Inside is a protective foil, with a clear plastic window for looking in on these elegant cigarettes.


My great Aunt Lillian never finished the pack: they were too beautiful to smoke!

Vintage Hotel Decals:

I've had these in my possession since 1999, when my great aunt Lillian passed away. She was very well traveled, and collected everything from her trips

The design of these decals really inspire me. The design, the simplicity, the draftsmanship: so perfect. Why can't we have illustration as good as this today?

New Film

I'm working on a new film. I'll tell ya more about it later.

A thank you card

I appreciate the people who look after my cat when I'm away. Having a print-out thank card comes in handy for when I return home.

Mister Jinks

I love my pussycat, Mister Jinks. I found him in Prospect Park on 6/06/06, and he's been my pet ever since.

This furry little animal brings me so much joy. However, his black fur is tough to draw!
